A man suffered serious injuries after a botched attempt to destroy into a premises at Wisma Sandakan yesterday.

The plan used to be ruined when the 24-year-old suspect slipped and fell off from the 2nd floor.

District police chief ACP Mohd Azhar said the 10.30am incident used to be witnessed through contributors of public from a mosque subsequent to the building.

The suspect and his accomplice had been trying to enter the fifth floor of the constructing with the aid of mountain climbing from the second floor.

“He suffered serious injuries on his head, neck and waist and rushed to the sanatorium for treatment.

“Further investigation revealed that the suspect has five previous crime records,” he said, adding police have been looking for his accomplice who fled the scene after seeing his associate had fallen.

Mohd Azhar introduced the case was once being investigated underneath Section 457/511 of the Penal Code.
